There is a need for a system that helps students stay focused on their study goals while giving parents appropriate and transparent control over access to distracting content.

An AI-powered smart system that promotes learning through AI assistance, educational resources, compulsory quizzes, and healthy breaks while monitoring the child’s activity. Parents can control entertainment access and track the child’s live activity, progress, and performance through a dashboard.

In Detail

Our solution is an AI-powered parental control and study-assistance system for a child’s laptop. When the laptop starts, the child chooses between Study and Entertainment. In Study Mode, the child selects a topic and receives AI-based explanations, educational resources, doubt-solving, and a compulsory quiz to track understanding. The system monitors whether the child is studying, playing games, watching entertainment, or taking a break. After every 60 minutes of study, it encourages a healthy break for walking, drinking water, and resting. Entertainment activities such as games and videos require parental approval and can be limited by time. A live parent dashboard allows parents to see the child’s current activity, study progress, quiz performance, entertainment usage, requests, and alerts.
