Problem Statement
A Student or Staff member may faint, slip on a staircase, fall in isolated corridor, experience a medical emergency inside a restroom, or face a dangerous situation where they are unable to call for help.
Solution
For the problem, We're going to make a device that detects when a Student or Staff face any emergency inside restroom or face any dangerous situation where they are unable to ask for help manually.
In Detail
A Student or Staff member may faint, slip on a staircase, fall in isolated corridor, experience a medical emergency inside a restroom, or face a dangerous situation where they are unable to call for help Our problem statement explains, How can a campus detect a possible emergency of Students and staffs and notify the appropriate people quickly, even when the person is unable to manually ask for help. For example, consider a student walking down a staircase. The student could suddenly lose balance and fall. If the staircase is crowded, someone may notice immediately. However, if the staircase is empty, the student my remain there without assistance for sometime. This device can be designed for multiple campus users including Students, Teaching and Non- Teaching Staffs. The Device can provide additional protection during situations where they cannot manually use their phones. If the user face any emergency situation, The MPU6050 check the sudden acceleration change. If there is no usual movements detected it will continue the monitoring for some time. But if unusual movements detected, it will check the orientation. If he orientation change significantly, the device detects it as a fall. If the normal movement resumes, the device treat it as a false alarm. And if there is little/no movement, the emergency is verified. This VIGITAG Device is an IoT- based safety solution designed to provide an additional layer of protection for students and staff throughout the Campus. "The Ultimate vision is not simply to create a device that detects falls. It is to create a campus where help can be requested quickly, emergencies can be identified earlier and students and staff can feel safer wherever they are on campus"
