Problem Statement
Company buildings and shopping malls use large glass facades that only let in light and create heat, but they do not produce any useful energy.
Solution
Replace ordinary facade glass with transparent solar-glass panels that generate electricity, while a cooling system captures the excess heat and stores it as hot water.
In Detail
Modern company buildings have large glass facades that allow natural light, but they also absorb a significant amount of solar heat. Our solution is to replace ordinary facade glass with transparent silicon solar glass, which looks like regular glass while generating electricity from sunlight. Behind each solar-glass panel, a water-based cooling system is installed. As the panels heat up, water flowing through micro-channels absorbs the excess heat, keeping the panels cooler and helping them maintain better electrical efficiency. The heated water is then stored in an insulated tank and reused for the building's cafeteria, washrooms, or pantry. This allows the building to produce both electrical energy and useful thermal energy, reducing electricity consumption and making the company's campus more sustainable.
